“Eucharist” means “thanksgiving,” and what could be more appropriate than to begin this festive holiday with Mass? Hope to see you and your loved ones there!
GIVING THANKS IN PRAYER
Dear God in Heaven,
We thank you for all the blessings you have given us over this past year.
We are most grateful for the food you have provided for us on this table.
We pray that your blessings reach the tables of all people who are struggling with their finances.
We pray that your blessings reach the tables of our military far and near.
We ask that you remind us constantly to keep all people in our thoughts, and that we follow your lead to care for them as you will.
We thank you for the beauty of the earth, the love of our families and friends, and your continuous love and mercy.
We give you thanks through your Son, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit, who lives and reigns with you forever and ever.
