With Grateful Hearts from the Society of St. Vincent de Paul Lincoln and Weston
To everyone who supported this year’s SVdP Annual Appeal — THANK YOU!
Your generosity helps us respond when our neighbors face life’s unexpected hurdles.
Recently, we’ve seen a local family struggling to keep food on the table after a sudden job loss, a mother balancing rent, childcare and mounting bills after a difficult divorce, and a longtime Lincoln resident whose unexpected health crisis forced her to stop working. Each came to us carrying worry, uncertainty, and the hope that someone could help.
Thanks to you, we can help.
Because of your support, we’re able to provide nutritious groceries through our Food Pantry, emergency financial assistance with rent and essential bills, scholarships for continued education, and reassurance that no one has to face these challenges alone. (See message below from a client.)
Together, we’re helping neighbors regain stability, and see a path forward again.
Thank you for helping make our community stronger, more compassionate, and more hopeful for all of us!
May God bless you.

A Message to SVdP from a client:
“I reached out to SVdP because I wasn’t sure how I was going to make it through my job training program and still afford basic needs. Then a SVdP volunteer showed up at my doorstep! I was granted a scholarship each semester that made my completion of the program possible. She also let me know about the food pantry and urged me to join. Since then I’ve cried tears of gratitude, tears of joy, and tears of sadness with the SVdP volunteers. And, ultimatelv, we all jumped for joy when I landed a job (thanks to your prayers). Thank you, to each of you, for the role you have played in my life.”
