BUILD THE FAITH Rosaries for Sale this Sunday April 3rd after Masses
After this Sunday’s St. Julia morning Masses at 9:30 am and 11:30 pm, representatives from Build the Faith, Inc. (BTF) will be selling rosaries made by local volunteers. Also this weekend, St. Julia’s 6th, 7th and 8th Grade Faith Formation classes will participate in a workshop and create more of these rosaries to help their cause.
Since BTF’s founding in 2016 by beloved St. Julia parishioner, Christina Dangond, who relapsed in her illness and went to the loving embrace of our Lord on January 26, 2018, BTF continues their cause to bring her young life, legacy and inspiration to those in need through the proceeds from the sale of handmade rosaries. These proceeds, along with the generous donations from their supporters have enabled BTF to build two churches and one convent in three different countries. In addition, BTF is in the process of building their third church, located in Ghana, Africa. BTF is also an organization that supports families, youth and adults in their Catholic faith through hosting annual retreats, youth rosary workshops and music festivals, promoted through their weekly newsletter and blog.
