We’re running down (no pun intended) to our final week of our annual Sneaker Drive for the children in Dorchester!

St. Julia parish will be collecting new sneakers for these kids through September 8th.  Our goal is to send 100 pairs of sneakers to the children for the start of school. Please consider helping these children have a strong start!

New sneakers make children run faster, jump higher, and just feel good! 

Just take a paper sneaker from the Sneaker Drive posters at the back of our two churches and purchase a pair of sneakers in the suggested size. (The sizes on the paper sneakers are only suggestions – but we can accept a variety of sizes.)  Collection boxes will be in both churches.

If you prefer instead to make a financial donation for this project, please make a check payable to St. Julia Parish and enclose it in an envelope marked “Sneaker Drive” (found at the back of the churches.)  You may either drop it to the parish office, or send to: St. Julia Parish, 374 Boston Post Rd., Weston MA 02493.  Or, contact Pat Dacey through the Parish Office if you have questions.
