Fr. Robert Braunreuther SJ will lead parishioners on an engaging journey through the history of St. Ignatius of Loyola, Spanish theologian, one of the most influential figures in the Roman Catholic Counter-Reformation in the 16th century, and founder of the Society of Jesus (Jesuits) in Paris in 1534. Fr. Bob will share St. Ignatius’ development of The Spiritual Exercises, a manual of spiritual arms containing a vital and dynamic system of spirituality.
Fr. Bob, a Jesuit, has enjoyed a remarkable career of learning, teaching and ministering in Europe and the United States. In addition to lecturing at Boston College, his ministries have ranged from working with abandoned children in Haiti to mentoring priests and other graduate students at Loyola University in Chicago.
