Please join the Sudbury-Wayland-Lincoln Domestic Violence Roundtable at their first-ever half-day summit as we discuss and examine masculinity and what it means to be a “good man” in today’s culture and world. The summit will feature Keynote Speakers: Dan Lebowitz, Executive Director of the Center for the Study of Sport in Society at Northeastern University and investigative journalist Emma Brown, of The Washington Post, and author of a forthcoming book on raising boys in the age of #MeToo.
Participants will have an opportunity to reflect on often hidden cultural messages impacting our boys, men, and other genders, and engage in dialogue through small group conversations in the afternoon. The summit will conclude with a call to action, asking those in participation to identify a small or large effort to promote healthier messages on masculinity and gender identity in their own communities. All are welcome to attend this important event, with lunch provided. For more info, email: email@example.com
