We, the parishioners of Saint Julia Parish a Catholic Parish of the Archdiocese of Boston, seek to live our belief in Christ as we worship and serve Him according to His example and teachings. With appreciation of the diverse gifts of our individual members, we strive to gain the participation of each parishioner and work to ensure that everyone feels welcome in our community of faithful. We do this while mindful of God’s love for us, and the power of His Spirit that makes us holy, heals our brokenness and sustains us in all the good we do. We are committed in the spirit of Christian stewardship, to share generously our time, talent, and treasure to accomplish this.
With the 2004 expansion of St. Julia Parish to include also the community of Lincoln and the former parishioners of St. Joseph’s Parish in Lincoln, Father George Evans convened a small task force of parishioners from Lincoln and Weston to review and renew the parish mission statement. This mission statement summarizes the essence of who we are, and what we are about, as a parish, part of the living, loving body of Christ, building up the Kingdom of God here on this earth. The Parish Pastoral Council approved the new Parish Mission Statement and Parish Goals as of January 9, 2005.
