This October, NPH and St. Julia’s Parish will be welcoming children from the NPH home in Mexico. NPH USA transforms the lives of disadvantaged children in Latin America and the Caribbean by supporting the homes, healthcare, and educational programs of Nuestros Pequeños Hermanos (NPH, Spanish for “Our Li1le Brothers and Sisters”). Together, we create families for life and teach children the values of unconditional love, shared responsibility and helping others.
A group from NPH Mexico will be visiting St. Julia and St. Joseph churches to share their culturally rich music and touching stories with our community. They will be helping to raise awareness and support for for NPH, their home, and their family.
We are looking for host families to welcome the youth into their homes!
By opening your homes you are able to form meaningful connections with some of the children in our care and you are helping us to continue to transform the lives of children in need. We are looking for 6 families to host either 2 youth, or a chaperone from the musical group, from October 24th-30th, during which time they will be visiting area schools and local events. The musical group will be performing or speaking at all parish Masses the weekend of October 26/27.
