DON’T DO LENT ALONE!
Join a Lenten Small Group Today…
St. Julia parish resumes our proud tradition of forming Lenten Small Groups which begin meeting the week of February 20. Join us during 7 weeks for faith sharing, prayer and reflections on Scripture in an atmosphere of outreach and friendship.
Perhaps you’ve tried to pray more or study Scripture for Lent in the past, only to fall short, despite your best efforts. But what if you had a supportive community this time?
Join a Small Group and be encouraged this Lent. Meet weekly with fellow parishioners to connect deeply with God and one another through prayer and discussion. Delve into the Sunday readings and reflect on how God’s Word can apply to your daily life. Experience Lent within community for 7 weeks starting the week of February 20.
The groups will:
- Discuss life and faith, and/or continue to focus on the topic of racial justice
- Reflect on God’s Word together – applying the Sunday readings to daily life
- Seek God together
- Pray for and with one another
To connect with a group, or just find out more information, please reach out to Deacon Phil at director.of.ministries@
Hope to see you in a Small Group! All are welcome!
*Lent begins on Ash Wednesday, February 22. See the St. Julia Schedule of Ash Wednesday Masses & Services.
