The Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary is a Holy Day of Obligation. This year it falls on a Saturday, so please note that you must attend TWO Masses on this weekend- one for the Feast Day and one for Sunday. At St. Julia parish, we will be celebrating the Solemnity at the following Mass times:
Saturday, Dec 8th
8:00 AM St. Julia Church
10:00AM St. Joseph Church
To observe both the Feast and Sunday, you may do any of the following:
Attend a Vigil Mass for the Immaculate Conception on Friday evening, followed by Saturday Vigil or Sunday Mass for Advent 2
Attend Saturday Mass for the Immaculate Conception, followed by Saturday Vigil or Sunday Mass for Advent 2 (yes, you can attend two Masses on Saturday!)
