Give & Be Grateful!
SVdP’s Annual Thanksgiving Basket Collection: Due on November 18/19, 2022
Thanksgiving offers us time to reflect on how we are blessed and to pass our blessings on to others. We are asking our Lincoln and Weston communities to support our neighbors in need.
Please join us in providing Thanksgiving “Turkey Tin” food baskets for the Society of St. Vincent de Paul (SVdP) Food Pantry guests. We plan to give 130 families both a “Turkey Tin” food basket and a grocery store gift card.
TWO WAYS TO SUPPORT:
Share your blessings with a Gift Card or Thanksgiving Food Basket (‘Turkey Tin’)!
Please sign up here to bring either a Thanksgiving “Turkey Tin” and/or a $25 grocery store gift card.
1) If you plan to donate a Thanksgiving ‘Turkey Tin’ Food Basket:
An example of a turkey tin can be seen in the photo. PLEASE CLICK HERE for detailed instructions and a shopping list for the basket, as well as some suggested ideas to make it special and festive!
2) If you plan to donate a $25 Grocery Gift Card:
$25 grocery gift cards will be added to the baskets to enable people to purchase their own turkeys. Please consider purchasing one from Donelan’s. Donelan’s in Lincoln is very supportive of the Food Pantry year-round, so this is just another way of saying thanks. Donelan’s Supermarket gift cards can either be delivered at the times listed below or left at the Donelan’s Customer Service desk (Lincoln grocery store location).
Please drop-off your “Turkey Tin” food basket and grocery gift cards at the SVdP Food Pantry located behind St Joseph’s Church (142 Lincoln Road, Lincoln) on:
- Friday November 18th between 4:30 – 6:00 pm or
- Saturday November 19th between 10:00 am – 12:00 pm
Questions: firstname.lastname@example.org or 781-899-2611 x 4
May you have a blessed Thanksgiving!
With warm thanks and appreciation,
St. Vincent de Paul Food Pantry of Lincoln and Weston Team
