Celebrate the season with a Christmas Pops Concert and Sing-Along on Sunday, December 18 at 3 p.m. in St. Julia Parish Center, 374 Boston Post Road, Weston Center.
The concert will feature St. Julia Choir and guest performers. There will be a variety of vocal and instrumental solos, duets, and choral selections of favorite seasonal music. A traditional audience Sing-Along highlights the festivities.
St. Julia Christmas Pops is pleased to announce special guest Mara Bonde. Ms Bonde is a frequent soloist and leader of congregational singing for St. Julia liturgies. She has been a guest soloist with Boston Pops and she has performed with numerous orchestras throughout the country. She brings charismatic presence and gifted talent to a variety of musical forms including popular, musical theater, and opera.
The Christmas Pops director will be Brian Moll. Brian brings to this program a distinguished career as music director and accompanist of choral groups, soloists, and musicians. He has been music director at St. Julia Church for over twenty years. He holds faculty positions at Boston Conservatory of Music as Music Director of the Opera Studio and at Longy School of Music as Chair of the Collaborative Piano Department.
