Learning and growing in our faith is a lifelong activity! Whether you are new to the Church, or self-identify as a “cradle Catholic,” there is always more to explore in our relationship with God. St. Julia Parish offers various ways for adults to continue to grow in faith. If you have ideas for programs or events for adults, please do not hesitate to contact our staff so that we can assist you with planning and hosting.
BIBLE STUDY
Saint Julia Parish has two active Bible studies: Tuesday morning, 9am – 11am in St. Julia Parish Center Hall. Look for announcements of specific start dates and current study topics here and in the Bulletin.
SMALL GROUPS
A few years ago, St. Julia Parish began meeting as small groups to read and discuss the “Why Catholic?” series. Some groups have continued to meet at various times and locations, while many new groups have continued to form. Topics, formats, composition, and meeting times all vary! Check out our page on Small Groups for more information and to submit an inquiry form today!
RITE OF CHRISTIAN INITIATION FOR ADULTS (RCIA)
“… I am the bread of life; whoever comes to me will never hunger, and whoever believes in me will never thirst.” John 6:35
The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) is a process for adults who are seeking to be in full communion with the Roman Catholic Church. It provides opportunity for inquiry, formation, prayers and companionship along the journey of faith to adult Baptism. The responsibility of welcoming such individuals through this gradual process is shared by all who have been fully initiated into the Catholic Church. Special guidance is provided through this spiritual journey from those who are on the RCIA team and from those who are sponsoring such an individual. For more information, contact the Parish Office.
