Brian joined St. Julia Parish in the fall of 1993. A magna cum laude graduate of Hamilton College, he also has a Master of Music Degree from the University of Michigan School of Music, as well as performance diplomas in piano and organ from the Academy of Music in Vienna, Austria. While in Austria he taught as a Fulbright teaching assistant. Before coming to St. Julia Parish he spent a year of post-graduate study at the University of Notre Dame, where he also taught undergraduate piano. He has given recitals as a soloist and accompanist throughout Europe and Japan, as well as in many cities in the U.S. Brian is currently Music Director of the Opera Studio at the Boston Conservatory as well as Chair of the Collaborative Piano Department at Longy School of Music in Cambridge.
