Important Dates to Remember:
November 19: Grade 4 Hosts 9:00 Family Mass and Café Julia—students are needed to greet, read, and bring up the gifts at the Mass; students and at least one parent are asked to come at 8:00 am and help set up for Café Julia, then come after Mass for about 15 minutes to help host it. More details will emailed to parents by Cindy.
November 19: Grade 2 First Penance Workshop starts at 12:30. All students in Grade 2, along with at least one parent, is expected to attend. Please see invitation for details.
November 26/27: Happy Thanksgiving! No classes on Sunday or Monday. Have a safe and delicious
December 2: Grade 2 Penance Service, 10:30 am in St. Julia Church.
December 3: Grade 1 Mass and Family Gathering; the students will host the Mass by greeting parish-ioners as they arrive, and bringing up the gifts of bread and wine. Following the Mass, we will attend Café Julia, and then return to the Church for a Church tour. We will end at 11:10. More details will be emailed to you.
Did you know…
…that next Sunday (November 26) is the last Sunday of our Church Calendar Year? We call it Christ the King Sunday. We celebrate the fact that when the world as we know it today ends, Christ will become the only King, and will rule over all people.
Be sure that you have put all of your child’s grade level events on your calendar! The children and at least on parent are expected to participate in the Café Julia and Family Gathering moments! Children preparing to receive the Sacraments MUST attend the workshops!
