First Eucharist

First Eucharist, also know as First Holy Communion, usually takes place during the Easter Season when the student is in second grade. The students preparing for First Eucharist must also be prepared for First Penance/Reconciliation/Confession. The students are prepared for the Sacrament of Reconciliation in the Fall, and prepared for the Sacrament of Eucharist in the Winter/Spring. 

All students who prepared for First Eucharist last year, but were unable to receive the Sacrament due to COVID-19, will be able to receive in November at Masses set up for that purpose, or wait until the Spring. There will be no private Masses, or Outdoor Masses. The number of guests will be determined by the number of students assigned to each Mass.  Please contact Cindy Harrington if you did not receive the email regarding this.

Students who are in Grade 2 as of September 2020 will be asked to register for Faith Formation, which includes information to register for Sacramental Preparation.  The preparation will be taking place at home, with occasional Zoom Family Gatherings with Cindy Harrington. Cindy will contact families as to how to receive materials, once they have registered.

This is a very special moment for the children, and we are planning to make their Sacraments as special as safely possible!
