CALLING LITURGICAL MINISTERS: We are all coming together to break bread at the Lord’s table and we need your help. Because of increasing age and changes of life, the St. Julia Parish roster of Eucharistic Ministers is drastically low. In particular, the 9am and 5pm Masses are in desperate need. Eucharistic Ministers are lay members of the parish community who assist Father in the distribution of the Body and Blood of Christ at Mass. We have many Masses, and in order to have the Eucharistic Ministers needed at each mass, we need more people willing to serve. If you’re interested, the requirements are simple:
You’re a practicing Catholic and striving to live a moral life (being perfect is not a requirement!)
You’ve been Baptized, received First Communion, and have been Confirmed;
You are at least 16 years of age;
If you are married, your marriage is recognized by the Church
If you’d like to express interest, please contact Betsy Hinchey Czarnowski by phone at 781–589–7628 or by e–mail at firstname.lastname@example.org. A conversation with the pastor as well as training and preparation will pre-cede commissioning as a Eucharistic Minister. A training will take place on October 29th at 4pm in St. Julia Church and other times for training can be arranged if needed.
